SARAJEVO & MOSTAR

Sarajevo is a city full of memorials, roses and scars. Not only the city. Scars from shrapnel which were made few years ago.

Coffee is something really important there. First one to open a conversation. Second one to make a space for you and yours questions and  after third coffee is polite to leave.

Mostar by night. This one is bit boring but it’s always bit adventurous to take a long time with my old camera.

Locals are sometimes jumping off the bridge. Better than street performance with snakes.

  2. Thanks for sharing, I will be visiting Sarajevo and Mostar just for 1 or 2 days, but I am quite interested in visiting Kravice Waterfalls near Mostar.

I haven’t googled much about Sarajevo, what do you suggest there?

    Best regards

    • Hey there,

Sarajevo isn’t very big city so I think 1 or 2 is enough. Anyway I could imagine to spend there weeks. Chilling in the old town (Baščaršija), drinking bosnian coffee and turkish tea…I missed that. This part of the city has really unique atmosphere.

I would suggest you to visit this gallery (http://galerija110795.ba). It’s located in the city center. It’s a permanent gallery about Srebrenica genocide. Bit strong!

In case you are an art lover, their gallery of contemporary art is also worth to visit it (http://www.arsaevi.org).

Their local brewery Sarajevska Pivara is also good for taking few beers. If you don’t want to be in the city all day long you could take a walk to some of the view points around the city. The view is pretty nice!

      Take care!
